Stacie Bittner died on September 4, 1998. It was a tragic day for ALL Weimar High students.I can remember like it was yesterday, I was dropped of at the Texaco two blocks from the High school, when I arrived I sat on the bench and was talking to one of my friends, I had no idea that Stacie had died early that morning. I was around the school when a freshman girl asked me if I knew what happened to Stacie, I replyed no and asked what happened. She told me that Stacie was comming from LaGrange to Weimar on Hwy. 155 when she was turnning the corner, lost control of the car, and ran into a tree. At that point I didn't know if was I supposed to belive the freshman and assume that Stacie would be driving up the road any second now, or if I should accept the fact that Stacie was dead and there was nothing I could about it. Staci's Teachers Write: Stacie was a "regular" in the library. She enjoyed reading and checked out books. Stacie was also a great conversationalist. I loved to visit with her.
